Scope of the PSU-UMD Data Assimilation Workshop
PSU Advanced Data Assimilation and Predictability Techniques (ADAPT) and UMD Weather-Chaos Group
has been co-hosting the quasi-annual workshop series to
foster interaction between the data assimilation groups at the two universities as well as the operational and research centers such as NOAA; exchange current status; discuss openly issues and challenes; share the thoughts; and explore together new and future directions.
